Oxheart Tomato

Name
Oxheart

Seed Source:
Tomato Growers

Variety
A Heirloom tomato . Indeterminate.
The plant gets about 6 feet high, with regular leaves.

Season
80 days,  mid- to late-season

An old-fashioned favorite with heart-shaped pink/red fruit that weigh up to 1 pound. Very meaty flesh contains few seeds making this a favorite for slicing and for sandwiches. Good flavor and productivity keep gardeners growing this heirloom variety.
A pretty lookin tomato!

Thai Pink Egg tomato

Name
"Thai Pink Egg".
(AKA "Eggs from Phuket")

Seed Source:
 Seeds brought from Thailand

Variety
Semi-determinate (Heirloom)
The plant gets about 3-4 feet high, with regular leaves
Best grown in greenhouse in cooler regions.
Resists cracking even in heavy rain!

Season
74 days, mid-season

Color/shape
Pink, egg shaped tomatoes. A pretty lookin' tomato!

Usage
Cooking, sauces, stir fry
In Thailand they grow their tomatoes in the Northern part of the country, because of the cooler climate. In The South the climate is way too hot!
The tomato is mostly used in stir fries. The fruits are quite popular in Thailand, particularly for their pleasant appearance.

My own review
This variety produces loads of tomatoes all season. The taste medium sweet, and have a good tomato flavour. I love using this tomato in stir fry cooking,  but it is also good for making sauce.
I brought my seeds all the way from Thailand to Norway!

The tomato is named after its shape and color. It looks like an egg!

The tomatoes first turn white before ripening, to lovely, pink tomato eggs :-)
